Two unidentified adults died this morning in two separate incidences along Robert Mugabe way in Harare Central Business District (CBD).
According to eye witnesses a taxi driver believed to be in his 60s collapsed whilst driving towards Simon Muzenda street (formerly 4th Street) before his car rammed into other parked vehicles.
He was pronounced dead by an ambulance crew that arrived at the scene.
“The vehicle veered off the road before side sweeping and crushing into parked vehicles, we just saw that the man had already collapsed when we went to check on him,” said the source.
Across the road a woman believed to be in her 50’s collapsed and died on the pavement in what is suspected to be diabetes.
The woman whose occupation could not be established was said to have been waiting for a client when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Both bodies were removed by the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
