DeMbare Offloads Seven Players, More Leaving
Harare soccer giants Dynamos Football Club has released a number of players whose contracts expired on the 31st of December 2022 and more are expected to leave in the coming days.
In a statement, club spokesperson Tinashe Farawo said they had also offloaded three players back to Prince Edward Academy Juniors.
“Dynamos Football Club wishes to advise its stakeholders that it has parted ways with the following players whose employment contracts with the club expired on 31st December 2022;
“Sylvester Appiah, Partson Jaure, Godknows Murwira, Albert Eonde, Alex Orotomal, Ralph Kawondera and Keith Murera Further, the following PE Academy Juniors have been released back to their fold; Luke Musikiri, Claivert Tshuma and Stephen Chatikobo,” said Farawo
He added that they were in discussion to sever ties with Evans Katema and Martin Ofori whose contracts are still running.
“The club is also having discussions on mutual separation with the following players whose contracts with the Club still subsist; Evans Katema and Martin Ofori. The club had also offered Trevor Mavhunga an improved new contract but the player’s handlers advised that Trevor is now heading for a new home.
“Dynamos FC shall forever remain grateful to the service rendered to the club by these players and we wish them well in their careers. Meanwhile, all our stakeholders are hereby notified that the club is almost through with the recruitment of new players to beef up our 2023 squad and a formal announcement will be made in due course,” he said.
