Babes Wodumo’s Dating Dilemma
By Sifiso Ngwenya
Gqom queen Babes Wodumo has expressed her openness to dating again, four months after the tragic passing of her husband, Mampintsha. The husband, who had been battling a stroke, sadly passed away on December 24th.
Compounding her grief, Babes also lost her mother in law shortly after her husband’s death. Despite the double mourning, Babes has been trying to remain strong for her young son, whom she shares with Mampintsha.
During a recent live chat with her fans, the singer opened up about her battle with depression and how she has been coping by consuming alcohol.
To focus on adjusting to her new life, Babes has been turning down gig offers. Nevertheless, she took the opportunity to promote her upcoming album, which is expected to be released next month.
While answering questions from fans, the outspoken Wololo crooner revealed her feelings of loneliness and sexual frustration when asked about her interest in dating again.
She stated a preference for a white partner, explaining, “Personally, I prefer a white partner because they don’t talk too much. What is your suggestion because I’m really horny and it’s not funny anymore? It’s now getting to my head.”
Meanwhile, DJ Zinhle has been fueling speculation about whether she has undergone breast augmentation surgery.
She has been making suggestive comments and posting pictures that accentuate her visibly enlarged cleavage on Instagram.
The mother-of-two’s actions have only intensified rumors about a possible “boob job.” This week, Zinhle shared pictures of her “Mohosana” family vacation, featuring her partner Bongani and her children Kairo and Asante.
