Winky D Praises Fans After Striking Gold At World Music Awards

Zimdancehall artist, Winky D, has been awarded the prestigious Best African Dancehall Entertainer of the Year award at the Jamaican 40th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
The awards ceremony took place in Kingston, Jamaica, a country that is widely regarded as the birthplace of reggae music.
The artist expressed his gratitude for the award in a statement, thanking his supporters for their unwavering support and reaffirming the universal nature of heartfelt music.

Thank you for your unwavering support which has seen us winning the Best African Dancehall Entertainer of the Year award at the Jamaican 40th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA). Being recognised by our wider music community reaffirms the universal nature of heartfelt music and its unshakable ability to bring humanity together, regardless of diverse beliefs and superficial differences,” posted Winky D on twitter
He expressed his belief that music has the power to bring people together, uplifts and inspire them during difficult times.

The Jamaican 40th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) celebrate the best in reggae and world music.
