Award winning South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his bodyguard known as Tibz were shot and killed last night at a club is Durban, South Africa.
According to the first responders, Forbes was shot while standing on the pavement when a gun fire rang out shortly after 22:00.
Kwazulu-Natal police spoke person Robert Netshiunda confirmed that the rapper was gunned down in Durban on Friday evening.
“I can confirm that two people were killed and one of them is a well known rapper. Police will no be releasing any namee of the victims yet until full investigation is completed” said Netshuinda.
Police are investigating two counts of murder, and no arrests have been made.
