Nigeria’s CKay to Headline Vic Falls Carnival

Nigerian singer-songwriter, CKay, has been confirmed as one of the headline acts for the upcoming 2023 Vic Falls Carnival, which will take place from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th April at the Elephant Hills Resort in Zimbabwe.

The announcement was made by the organisers of the Victoria Falls Carnival, who stated that CKay would be performing on the main stage at the event.

CKay is widely regarded as one of the leading stars in the Afrobeats genre, with his hit songs ‘Love Nwantiti’ and ‘Emiliana’ earning him global recognition and critical acclaim.

His music has been described by Warner Music as sitting at the forefront of the Afrobeats canon, with ‘Love Nwantiti’ being certified platinum/multi-platinum in five countries, including the United States and India.

The song has also been named the most Shazam-ed song in the world.

The Vic Falls Carnival Main Stage at Elephant Hills Resort will feature over 30 of Africa’s top artists and acts on one stage, including Musa Keys, Jah Prayzah, Oskido, LKG, Toss | Mdoovar | 9umba, Black Motion, Enzo Ishall, Anita Jaxson, Mac G & Sol, Top Cheri, Rimo, Mi Casa, Mafikizolo, Han-C, Khoisan, Tashinga, Nitefreak, Just Drev, DJ Liz, Nospa, Nkosiminator, Renolife, Andrea the Vocalist, Doll Ya Mama, and Boity.

Fans of Afrobeats and live music are in for a treat at this year’s Vic Falls Carnival, with CKay and the other performers set to deliver an unforgettable experience.

The event promises to be a celebration of African music and culture, with music lovers from across the continent expected to converge on the Elephant Hills Resort for what is sure to be a weekend to remember.
