As Atlanta gears up to commemorate 50 years of hip-hop culture, Zimbabwe’s music sensation, Tamy Moyo, is all set to take the stage in Atlanta, Georgia, United States this weekend.
The talented songstress departed the country just yesterday, with her manager, Doris Makwara, confirming the travel arrangements.
According to Makwara, Tamy Moyo will be a part of a captivating collision of art and hip-hop at a special artist showcase in celebration of Atlanta’s 50-year hip-hop legacy.
“This Sunday, Tamy Moyo will be participating in an event that promises a rhythmic journey through the realms of art and hip-hop. It’s all in honor of 50 years of hip-hop in Atlanta, Georgia, USA,” saaid Makwara
She went on to describe the show as an otherworldly experience, saying, “The performance will transport the audience on an extraordinary voyage, venturing to outer space and back. As part of this celebration, the Atlanta Hip-Hop community will be treated to a magical encounter: celebrated poets and dynamic hip-hop artists will share the stage, exploring the delicate interplay between spoken word and lyrical flow.”
Makwara highlighted that Tamy’s soulful melodies would immerse the audience in the intricate dance between spoken poetry and rhythmic lyrics.
“This promises to be an unforgettable fusion of literary brilliance and musical innovation that transcends genres, sparking a vibrant creative dialogue,” she said
The event is hosted by ELEVATE, a public art program dedicated to uplifting the Atlanta community through various forms of artistic expression, performances, and cultural events. T
